Many children and adults ride regularly for an hour every week. During half terms and holidays we arrange both two hour and longer rides. Pony Days are also very popular with the children and their parents for whom they are a far better option than hiring a baby sitter!

Riding opportunities : Most popular are One Hour rides for groups of Children of similar ability.

One and Two Hour Rides
•    Pony Days
Children go for a long ride covering new territory before returning to clean tack and picnic on the lawn. They then prepare for “Best Turned Out Pony” which is judged by the kids; this is followed by a Gymkhana with rosettes for all.

•    Pony Club - We encourage children to become involved and we are able to provide ponies to attend local riding club events and to participate in Pony Club camps.
•   Parent Lead
An opportunity for Mums or Dads to take their child around the farm on a leading rein for half an hour. The minimum age for this is 4 years.

•   Beginner Children
From 6 or 7 years old s mall groups of children are led round the farm by a parent and taken off on a lead rein, in turn, by Sue to learn to rise to the trot before returning to the group.
