Think “LOCAL” for your healthy exercise, recreation and making new friends.
At Little Hidden the riding school is closely linked to the farm itself. The horses and ponies live out in species-rich meadows, many hedges have been planted for their shelter, tracks surround every field and riders are able to see real farming in progress.
We believe it is important that riders have the opportunity to get to know their animals, to learn about grooming and tacking-up, to engage in the general welfare of the ponies and to share in some of the feeding and paddock management.
Sue Acworth, who runs the riding school, tries to ensure that riders of all degrees of experience are well matched to their mounts and that they go out with groups of similar ability. Safety and welfare of riders and animals is of paramount importance to us.
